This lady is an outlier, a genuine godsend. For those of us old enough to remember, her deliberate, serious delivery, often speaking in philosophical principles, reminds one of novelist-philosopher Ayn Rand. Her words are sweet music to a libertarian’s ears.
I fell in love with her when I heard her deliver these thoughts in a recent speech: "When a government claims to have the people's interests at heart, you need to think again. In the entire history of mankind there has never been a political elite sincerely concerned about the well-being of regular people. What makes any of us think it is any different now?”
Politicians believe free stuff and guarantees of safety are what the voters want. That’s why many people rushed to get vaccinated so they would be saved from a killer on the loose, not realizing, because they weren’t told, they were participating in an experiment. They acted without exercising due diligence. If they had done their homework they would know you can’t short-circuit vaccine development, that there were low-cost treatments available to prevent or treat Covid in one’s home, rather than a narrative-compliant hospital where deaths were piling up, that if drugs like hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin had not been suppressed there would be no need of expensive and untested vaccines. They were scared, and they surrendered responsibility for their health to others, who to this day continue to make lies, profits, control, and deaths the defining characteristics of the covid crisis.
