If this news came with a moral repositioning, it would be one with some understood biblical (read historical if you're secular) outcome. Yet without this reaffirmation the story as well turns to a biblical (historical) outcome. The former surely point to a Hebrew notion of procreancy or anyone's if they are honest. The gold lion is lazy only after task is done. This is a place of return. The latter even couched in the trappings (or even the words) of the Psalm smells of pedigreed weed. Call this new breeding for an old strain: Mammon's breath. The gold bull tied to this fell spirit is a place of and for wanton profligacy and depravity. This is not a place of return. This is not a place of procreancy.

If procreancy is taking a hit in the news, then this is not the good news.
