Global Warmists are well meaning but mostly grossly misinformed fanatics. It has been hotter and colder in the past. They are just not looking at long enough time periods.
Speak to Geologists or Astrophysicists and the great majority will tell you that there is no such thing as global warming and if anything we are heading into a cold period.
The Sun is the main driver of climate change, PERIOD.
PS If there was no CO2 there would be hardly any plant life.
