Yo Jim... WAKE UP.

Lincoln started the fight, ya that's right. When war is declared either by proclamation or action it's war. The north fired the first salvo, they slapped taxes on everything headed north but applied no levies against anything being shipped south. Lincoln and his crew squeezed the south. I'm surprised the south had the patience to wait as long as they did for Lincoln to chose an alternate course before defending themselves. Unfortunately the war had zero to do with freeing slaves, it was about exerting financial control.

You still haven't answered a question that was asked of you a few weeks ago. Why did Lincoln not free the slaves in the north where he could have before the war? And why did it take almost a year after the war for him to action in this regard. You can't answer can you? If you did you'd put yourself in a corner and have to admit that your precious Lincoln wasn't the saint you and writers of history have made him out to be.
