Drilling Activity in Quebec

Delta, B.C. - April 10, 2007 - Quinto Mining (TSX-V: QU) has been informed of drilling activity at two of our properties in Quebec. Ressources Appalaches have informed Quinto that they have recently completed a drilling program at our Bornite Hill, Quebec copper property. Results are expected in the next few weeks. Ressources Appalaches have the right to earn up to a 50% interest by spending $1 million over a 5 year period.

BacTech mining has informed Quinto that a drill program at our Godbout, Quebec uranium property is underway. BacTech Mining can earn up to 75% interest by spending $1.3 million over a two year period or a 50% interest by spending $300,000 in the first year.

Quinto recently optioned both of these properties in order to allow us to concentrate on developing our two main (100%) owned Quebec properties, Peppler Lake iron and Lac Gueret graphite. Quinto anticipates updating the status of these two properties soon.
