Six holes drilled, five return radioactive readings

Delta, B.C. - April 11, 2007 - Quinto Mining Corp. (TSX-V: QU)

BacTech Mining Corp. has released an update on its activities on the Godbout A project, located approximately 60 kilometres (km) east of Baie-Comeau, Que.

As of April 5, 2007, the company has completed six drill holes on the Godbout A project. Of the six holes completed, five have returned radioactive readings on sections of the pegmatite drill core. Of particular interest, is the possible extension to the south of the white pegmatite dike under Highway No. 138. Drill hole No. 7 has been targeted on the interpreted extension to the south of the highway in an area of overburden cover.

Work on the Godbout B project is expected to commence in May once access to the property is available. Work on the B project will initially involve trenching, followed by some exploratory drill holes. This work will initially focus on the area of mineralization reported in a Feb. 22, 2007, news release in Stockwatch. BacTech fully expects to have earned its 50-per-cent interest in the project by this summer.

Split core samples of the first six holes will be forwarded to ALS Chemex in Val D'Or, Que., for analytical work, the results of which will be news released when available.
