I dunno Jim, I think JK was closer to reality this time, closer than usual anyway. The thing about shale oil is that it is really only economical to produce when oil prices are high. There are other oil sources in the US though that are not as high cost to produce, and the government does a good job of getting in the way, and taxing it to death.
