Drilling Commences on Satellite Iron Properties

Delta, B.C. - April 24, 2007 - Quinto Mining (TSX-V: QU) has recently completed a winter geophysics program on three of the four satellite properties adjacent to the Peppler Lake deposit. The program consisted of 68 line-km of magnetic survey to develop a more detailed outline of three iron deposits previously identified and explored by US Steel.

Quinto Mining has mobilized a Diamond drill rig to the site and will be starting an exploratory drill program on: Mont Lamelee, Lac Jean, Faber and Lac Hobdad.   The planned program will include approximately 6000 m. of core drilling. The goal of the program is to establish a much larger resource of iron in the area of our original Lac Peppler iron deposit.   Based on the historical work by US Steel Quinto management expects that this program will lead to the definition of a substantially larger resource at Peppler Lake.

A NI43-101 report is being prepared based on the 2006 drill program carried out on the main Peppler Lake deposit.  The 2006 drill program consisted of 22 drill holes including 3 twins of the historical drilling done by US Steel.  The historical resource calculated by US Steel was 270 million long tons.  AMEC Mining and Metals is in the process of calculating a NI43-101 compliant iron resource for the main Peppler Lake deposit based on the historical drilling and the 2006 drill program.
