April 26, 2016 - Troymet Exploration Corp. (TSXV: TYE) ('Troymet' or the Company') is pleased to report that a three dimensional induced polarization ('3DIP') survey is currently underway on the Redhill project. The Volterra-3DIP survey is being conducted by SJ Geophysics Ltd. of Vancouver.
The 3DIP survey is designed to test for zinc rich massive sulphide mineralization that is not an electromagnetic ('EM') conductor, as well as copper mineralization, associated with historic mineralized trends identified through mapping, soil geochemistry and limited Diamond drilling. These trends appear to be largely coincident with fixed-loop transient EM conductors, the majority of which have not been drilled. The mineralization in hole RH-06-25 (8.75% copper, 4.75% zinc, 1.22 g/t gold and 61.19 g/t silver over 2.04 m) is associated with a medium strength, 200 meter long EM conductor (News Release of September 16, 2015).
As well, the 3DIP survey is designed to test for structurally controlled gold-rich pyrite mineralization associated with a ~900 m X ~250 m gold-in-soil anomaly (News Release of October 29, 2015).
