Board changes

Northwest Resources Limited (ASX: NWR, "Northwest" or the "Company") announces the retirement of its Non-Executive Chairman, Mr Jim Colquhoun.
Mr Colquhoun was a founding director of Northwest and has served the Company for nearly 10 years with the last 5 years as Chairman. The directors wish to thank Mr Colquhoun for his commitment and valuable contribution to the Company and leadership of the Board. Northwest wishes Mr Colquhoun the very best in his future endeavours.
Mr Peter Richard, a non-executive director of the Company since 2008, has been appointed by the
Board to the position of Chairman.
Northwest also announces the appointment of Ms Ginette Farcell as a non-executive director. Ms Farcell has a broad range of management, administrative and financial experience in the
education sector. Most recently she held a senior management role at the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales. She has previously held positions at Sydney University, UTS and UWS. Ms Farcell has extensive experience in the design and implementation of programs dealing with best practice in business ethics, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.
